As part of my project to learn a new language, know ant then, I remad the original tunnel tumbler project using NME and Haxe and a bunch of drawTriangles calls.
I didn't dare use the the Stage3D API since the API is far for complete in NME.
This turned out better than the original. The original had navigational issues due to being "real" 3D world with full navigation. In this version the player can only move along the walls of the tunnel.
Haxe and NME are a really powerful combination and most of the time the compilation for Windows, Android, OS X and iOS versions "just worked".
